We’re excited to share our February 2026 platform updates. This release introduces more granular booking controls, improved admin usability in the Dashboard, enhanced floor map readability, and important security improvements across the platform.
What’s New
- Improved User Access Control for Reservations (Web Dashboard, WorkPoint, Mobile App)
– Group users and define how they can book, e.g. desks, rooms, or both, based on how your organization works.
– Set access rules for Members and Coordinators, while Owners and Admins always keep full access.
– Manage booking access at group level, making it easy to allow booking where it’s needed.
– Simple and predictable rules ensure the right settings always take effect.
– Booking options are automatically shown or hidden in the Dashboard, WorkPoint, and mobile apps, so users only see what’s relevant. - Improved: Sortable Columns in the Web Dashboard
– Quickly organize users by key details like name, email, role, desk, group, status, or license.
– Click any column header to switch between A–Z and Z–A sorting, with clear indicators showing the current order. - Per-Room Label Alignment and Max-Contrast Mode for Interactive Maps (All clients)
– Room names are easier to read on busy floor maps by letting you move labels to better positions and apply a high-contrast mode as an option for dynamic labels.
– Choose where each room name appears, such as above, centered, angled, or below the room.
– Changes are shown right away on the map and saved automatically.
– When room markers are used, labels follow the standard placement to keep the map clear and consistent. - Security Update: Stronger Password Requirements Across the Platform (All clients)
– Passwords now need to be aligned with OWASP best practices to better protect user accounts and prevent unauthorized access. - Updates in client releases
– Wayfinder X: updated to support enhanced map labels and shapes.
– Room Display X: updated to support enhanced map labels and shapes, including a bug fix for black-and-white backgrounds.
– Mobile App: updated to support enhanced map labels and shapes, as well as room and desk access permissions.
